A far cry from the traditional lock, keypad door locks are a more modern way to secure doors. Instead of using an ordinary key to open or lock the door you simply key in a secret pin number on the electronic keypad. Sometimes, such keypad door locks will include biometric features such as a fingerprint or eye reader or a slot for swiping an electronic authentication card. This keyless system has many advantages that make it a better choice
