Winter rugs? Mats?...?

I dwell in Wisconsin and we finally obtained snow nowadays, so far about an inch but of program it is currently tracking within the apartment from our shoes and our canines feet. I'm looking for a rug or mat that I can put in front of the sliding glass doorway that will trap the h2o from the snow melting so our carpet isn't ruined. I have tremendous easy access to Menards, but can make it to any other hard ware shop in SE
